The trial of the third President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili on the criminal case of illegal crossing of the state border of Georgia will be held today. The hearing is scheduled for 12:00 in the Tbilisi City Court.
Supporters of the former president will gather in front of the Tbilisi City Court in parallel with the hearing.
The evidence of the prosecution will be examined at today's hearing.
The investigation into the illegal border crossing by Mikheil Saakashvili started on October 1, 2021.
