Georgian citizens illegally detained by occupation forces released

Kakha Tsevelidze and Giorgi Chitadze, who were unlawfully detained by Russian occupation forces near the village of Dirbi in Kareli Municipality on February 16, have been released and are now located in territory under the control of the central government, as reported by the State Security Service of Georgia (SSG).
The SSG further stated that both the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) hotline and all available governmental channels were actively engaged in facilitating the release of Tsevelidze and Chitadze.
The SSG emphasized that the government remains dedicated to ensuring the release of all Georgian citizens unlawfully detained in occupied territories.
