In France, at the international wine competition Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge, Badagoni wines won the highest awards - 2 Double Gold and 1 Gold medal:

Saperavi Reserve 2010 - Double Gold

Khikhvi Qvevri White Wine 2021 - Double Gold

Kakhetian Noble Dry Red 2013 - Gold

It is worth noting that Badagoni Khikhvi Qvevri White Wine is made in the Alaverdi Monastery 11th century wine, using the 8000-year-old traditional Georgian method of making wine in Qvevri. This historical cellar was restored in 2006 by the Badagoni wine company.

The international competition has been held since 2018 and wine companies from all over the world participate in it.
