As Aleksi Pitskhelauri stated at the meeting, Akhmeta Municipality has a great potential for the development of agriculture, small and medium business and tourism, which is promoted by more than 400 historical and cultural heritage monuments. The development of all these fields will need to be supported step by step, through relevant infrastructure projects and, the central government will support the municipality to implement these plans. 

According to him, "The Georgian Dream" has been implementing many infrastructure projects since coming to power, however, there are still problems that need to be solved in a timely manner.

He also stressed the importance of the most successful wine company "Badagoni" to Kakheti region and thanked for its hospitality.

"First of all, we want to eliminate these existing problems related to drinking water, then gradually, we will move to infrastructure-related issues, namely, asphalt works. The problems regarding irrigation water supply, gardens, squares and greening will be eliminated. 

We met with the staff of Badagoni and I would like to thank Mr. Gogi Salakaia for organizing this meeting. The company is doing a great job and it is a major enterprise to us in Akhmeta Municipality. It is crucial and necessary for this company to move forward for our City Hall and the municipality!" – the Georgian Dream’s Akhmeta Mayoral candidate, Aleksi Pitskhelauri, stressed. 

According to Giorgi Salakaia, the founder of Badagoni, he supports the Georgian Dream’s Akhmeta Mayoral candidate.

As he explained, the Mayoral candidate’s programs are a priority for the municipality and the current government’s support for business must be appreciated.

"Today we had a very interesting meeting with the Mayoral candidate of Akhmeta Municipality, Mr. Aleksi Pitskhelauri. As you know, "Badagoni" is the largest employer in this municipality. Our company employs 600 people, for whom the day after today is important in our country.
