
At the biggest international wine competition in Spain - Bacchus 2023, which was held in Madrid, Badagoni Khikhvi Qvevri and Kakhetian Noble dry white were awarded with gold medals.
Bacchus 2023 - XX1 Concurso Internacional de Vinos is being held for the 21st time and wineries from all over the world have participated in the competition.
Badagoni Khikhvi Qvevri is created with 8000 years old Georgian traditional methodology, in the 11th century historical cellar of Alaverdi. It is characterized by golden color, harmonious and rich varietal aromas. Khikhvi grape is grown in the vineyards of Badagoni in Akhmeta region.
Signature wine of the chief oenologist of Badagoni, Dr. Donato Lanati - Kakhetian Noble is made from the 2016 harvest of Rkatsiteli and Kakhetian Mtsvane grapes. It is aged in an oak barrel for 6 months. We can feel a refined, harmonious aroma in it. The wine is distinguished by full, balanced acidity, citrus tones, and a long aftertaste.
