
Badagoni Wine Company plans to invest 14 million GEL in the construction of the hotel.
32 rooms of the hotel will allow Alaverdi Resort to receive 8-10 thousand visitors a year. It will employ 80 people, most of whom will be locals. Alaverdi Resort services are designed for both international visitors and Georgian citizens. The hotel will include a swimming pool, bars and a restaurant.
Alaverdi St. George Monastery Complex - home to one of the world’s oldest functioning pitcher wine cellars and an antiquities museum - is located within a 200-meter radius of Alaverdi Resort. Here is the Alaverdi floodplain and the center of the Georgian wine and Georgian dishes of "Badagoni".

Construction of the premium class hotel Alaverdi Resort will begin in February 2022, while it is scheduled to come into operation by August 2023.
