The 129th meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) took place in the village of Ergneti in Gori Municipality, where participants reviewed all major incidents recorded in the occupied region and along the occupation line since the previous session.
According to the State Security Service of Georgia, Georgian representatives once again demanded that those responsible for the murder of Georgian citizen Tamaz Ginturi be held accountable.
Representatives of the central government also raised the issue of individuals held in illegal detention, calling for the release of all detainees.
The meeting further addressed the unlawful restriction of freedom of movement and the ongoing process of so-called borderization. Participants discussed the movement regime at the so-called crossing points.
